Join the European Training- and Research Centre for Human Rights and Democracy (ETC) for the European stakeholder discussion taking place within the EU-funded project SCORE – Sporting Cities Opposing Racism in Europe!
On Thursday, 25 January 2024 from 13:00 to 15:00 CET we will engage in an exciting online discussion with stakeholders from all levels and spheres on how to best combat racism and discrimination in and through sports in Europe!
What are the gaps and challenges and what is needed to better combat racist discrimination in this sphere? What are some good practices and which training needs still persist? At the webinar, we will go over the first findings of a large-scale survey on gaps, challenges, training needs in this regard. We will also gather further experiences and inputs to inform our training materials for local authorities.
We welcome representatives of local authorities from all over Europe and beyond, as well as representatives from civil society, sports federations, research institutions, social activists, and more!
